Things You’ll Need:
Lavender Essential Oil
Chamomile Tea
Valerian Root
Passion Flower
Honey
Step1 Approximately 1 hour before you are ready to go to bed, take the recommended dosage of Valerian Root and Passion Flower. You may find a combination of these two herbs, if so it is acceptable to use that instead of the two separate herbs.
Step2 Thirty minutes before bedtime prepare and steep one cup of chamomile tea sweetened with honey if needed. Do not use sugar as this will hype you up. Honey is a natural sweetener and has not effect in that area. Drink your tea.
Step3 Take two drops of lavender essential oil and massage them into the soles of each foot for about two minutes on each foot. This will help you to relax and be ready for sleep as well. If you still have problems, another trick is to place 5 drops of lavender essential oil on a cotton ball and place it inside your pillow case on the bottom of your pillow.

Try to go to bed at the same time each night.
Do not eat heavy meals close to bedtime.
